About us : Macfarlane+Associates is a dynamic landscape and urban design studio based in the Southwark Bankside Quarter of London with a broad range portfolio of high-profile projects in the UK and overseas.
About you : We are seeking an articulate, talented and motivated Landscape Architect (2 years min experience post graduation) and Senior Landscape Architect both with an understanding of the UK planning system, strong design flair, hand drawn graphics and 3D experience, to join our team. A good knowledge of hard and soft construction delivery and a UK plant knowledge would be also preferable.
Candidates should have a multimedia design flair, experience of client care and an exciting design portfolio. Candidates should be highly proficient in CAD, photoshop and InDesign. Knowledge of Keyscape would be preferable.
About the job : The current portfolio of the practice ranges from the macro scale, with masterplanning projects, to the micro scale of construction design and delivery of projects on site. The sectors cover a wide variety of residential, commercial, retail, and leisure projects with a wealth of education and health schemes. Public realm regeneration schemes are a mainstay of M+A. As an LA, you would join our project teams, with responsibility suitable to your capabilities. As the business is growing, there are opportunities for continuous CPD and career progression.
